Essaouria, Morocco

This photo was taken by Phil of Phil in the Blank and How to Draw Camels.  (He inspired me to take a sketch pad and some pencils to Morocco.)  Beautiful scene!

Medina in Essaouira, Morocco.

Phil has this to say about the photo:

"Called the 'windiest city in Africa,' the walls of the old city provide a refuge. Inside, colorful scarves billow from shops that line the narrow corridors, fresh caught fish is grilled to order, and the scent of lavender and cinnamon lingers in the air from the many spice vendors."

    1. In fact, they do! Be sure to try out some of the other great teas, too! My favorite is verbena (“louiza”) in milk, mmm!
